Whelchel, Hugh - Executive Director of the Institute for Faith, Work & Economics

Hugh Whelchel serves as the executive director of the Institute for Faith, Work & Economics (www.tifwe.org), a biblical advocacy think tank based in McLean, VA. He is the author of How Then Should We Work? Rediscovering the Biblical Meaning of Work. Hugh previously served as executive director of Reformed Theological Seminary’s Washington D.C. campus and has spent most of his career in business, primarily in the IT industry. Hugh graduated from the University of Florida and earned a master’s degree in theology from Reformed Theological Seminary.
