Our History
Workforce Ministries was started in 2005. It began when a group of regular folks felt inspired by God to encourage believers in their workplace. A few “chance” encounters and other uniquely God-inspired connections later, and Workforce Ministries was born.
Our Purposeful Leadership Speaker Series commenced with Dr. Henry Blackaby, our first speaker, at a breakfast held at Reston Bible Church. Dr. Blackaby is most notably known as the author of Experiencing God: Knowing and Doing the Will of God which has sold 7 million copies and has been translated into over 45 languages.
Since our initial event we are privileged to have hosted over 40 speakers and 4,000 guests.
